Plans

Playing is free, with or without an account. A plan decides how much Gameverse keeps for you in your account when you sign in.

What each plan includes

Each plan includes everything in the plans before it.

Where your saves are kept

A game's save is always kept in your browser first. If you are signed in and cloud saves are on (the default), a copy is also sent to your account a couple of seconds later, so your progress follows you to your other devices. Without an account, or with cloud saves turned off in Account settings, saves stay in that browser only. If you are offline, the copy is sent next time. If you play the same game on two devices and both changed, the newer save wins and the older one is kept as a previous version you can restore.

The plan only limits the copy in your account. A game that is over your allowance still saves on your device.

What the words mean

Games always run in your browser. Gameverse's server stores cartridges and saves and sends them back, but it never runs a game.

Prices and how to get a plan

There is nothing to buy yet: payments are not built, and no prices have been set. Everyone who signs in starts on Free. Plans above Free are switched on by hand for now. This page will say so when that changes.

Tell me when plans open

Leave your email address and Gameverse will write to you once, when paid plans open. That is the only thing it is used for, you do not need an account, and you can ask to be taken off the list at any time (see Privacy).

Which plans interest you? (optional)

If you reach a limit

You are never stopped from playing. If your cloud allowance is full, a game's saves stay on your device and are not uploaded, and Account settings says the allowance is full. To see which plan you are on, sign in and open Account settings. See also Privacy for what each plan stores.
